HARD WATER AREA?
That chalky ring builds up in fountains too. You don't need to scrub harder. You need a fountain you can actually get clean.
A smooth bowl that goes straight in the dishwasher.
Bowl, spout and pump separate for a thorough clean.
Change every 2 weeks. Your 4-Month Kit includes 8 filter sets.
Hard water leaves some scale on everything, steel included. The difference is you can get it off.
It’s about more than a full bowl. You want your cat comfortable, healthy and beside you for years to come.
Cats evolved drinking from running streams. To a cat, still water can mean unsafe water, and their nose is far sharper than yours.
When water sits in a bowl, a thin slippery film starts to form on whatever it touches. You can scrub it off, but it comes back within the day. In hard-water areas, limescale builds up underneath it.
You can't see it. Your cat can smell it. So they do what cats do:
Those aren't quirks. Your cat is telling you which water they trust. And cats are very good at hiding when something's wrong, which is why vets so often tell owners to keep them drinking.
Try this tonight: run your finger round the inside of your cat's bowl. If it feels even slightly slippery, that's the film.
Kittlebrook keeps their water moving, filtered and UV-treated, in steel you can scrub clean. Water they trust is water they drink.
A fountain moves the same water round all day. In most fountains, whatever starts growing in that water goes round with it, over and over, while you're at work and while you're asleep. You'd never know. Your cat would.
Kittlebrook has a UV-C light built into the pump. Every time the water passes through, it's treated before it reaches the spout. So the water your cat drinks at night is as fresh as it was after you filled it.
Clean on the surface isn't the same as clean.

Water that moves like a stream, through a triple filter and past a UV-C light, in smooth steel your cat can't smell anything on. It's the kind of water cats are wired to trust.
Put it down where their bowl was and watch what they do. Most cats stop, stare at the flow, and lean in.
No more running the tap for them at 7am. No more finding their head in your glass. Just the sound of your cat drinking, from water you've kept clean.
Clean on the surface isn't the same as clean.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work in a hard-water area?
Yes. Hard water leaves some scale on any fountain, steel included. The difference is that Kittlebrook's steel parts wipe clean or go in the dishwasher, and the pump lifts out to rinse. Change the filter every 2 weeks and give it a full clean once a week.
What does the UV-C light do?
A small UV-C light sits inside the pump housing. The water is treated each time it passes through, so it stays fresher between refills. The light never touches the bowl, and you never see it working.
How hard is it to clean, and how often?
About five minutes, once a week. Lift out the pump and rinse it, then put the steel bowl, lid and spout in the dishwasher, or wash them by hand. Top up the water every few days.
What does the warranty cover, and how do I claim?
If anything stops working in the first 12 months, we'll replace it free. Email info@kittlebrook.com with your order number and a short video of the problem, and we'll sort it.
My cat's used to a bowl. Will they switch?
Most cats are curious about moving water. Put the fountain where their bowl was and leave the old bowl next to it for the first few days, then take the bowl away. Some cats take a day, some take a week.
What happens if my cat won't use it?
Send it back within 90 days for a full refund. If they won't drink from it, you shouldn't pay for it.
Is it noisy?
No. The pump is quiet enough for a bedroom. If you ever hear a drip or a hum, the water is usually low. Top it up and it goes quiet again.
How often do the filters need changing, and what does it cost?
Every 2 weeks. The 4-Month Kit includes 8 filters, and refill packs of 8 are £17.99, which works out at about £4.50 a month.
What if the pump stops working?
It's covered by the 12-month warranty. Email us and we'll send a replacement. Pumps work hardest in hard water, so rinse it at every weekly clean to keep it running smoothly.
Does the pump run all the time?
Yes. The water keeps moving day and night, so there's always fresh, moving water when your cat wants it.
Is it big enough for more than one cat?
Yes. 3.2 litres covers two or three cats comfortably. For bigger households, or a house over two floors, the Multi-Cat Kit gives you two fountains.
Is it really stainless steel?
Every part the water sits in (bowl, spout and lid) is stainless steel. The pump housing is BPA-free plastic.

Game changer for my old boy
Our 15 year old Cat has never drunk so much. He used to sit on the bathroom sink every morning screaming for the tap. Since the Kittlebrook arrived he hasn't asked once. Long drinks, several times a day. Wish I'd bought it years ago.

Finally a fountain I can actually keep clean
We live in a really hard water area and our old plastic fountain was a disaster. White crust round every edge, pump clogged twice, and the cat stopped using it. This one is steel so the scale just wipes off and the bowl goes straight in the dishwasher. Ten minutes on a Sunday and it's spotless. Both cats were drinking from it by the next afternoon. After a week I noticed I was topping it up far more than I ever filled their bowl.

She stopped drinking with her paw!!
I've had 2 other fountains and NONE of my 3 cats would touch them. Our girl Luna (7) has always dipped her paw in the bowl and licked the water off it. Day 4 with the Kittlebrook she drank from it properly, head down, first time EVER. I actually filmed it. All three use it now and the old bowls have gone in the bin. Thank you Kittlebrook 😊

Looks great, feels solid
Easy to set up, took about two minutes. The steel feels really sturdy, nothing like the cheap plastic ones, and it actually looks nice on the kitchen floor. The little blue window means I can see when it needs topping up without lifting the lid.

Quiet enough for the bedroom
My cat loves it and she drinks way more now. It's genuinely silent. We keep it in the bedroom and I forget it's even on. My last one hummed all night and drove me mad. Highly recommend.
